On tap at Tree House Brewing Company in Charlton, MA.
This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and no lacing.
This smells, well, intensely of vanilla, with lots of milk chocolate, chocolate syrup, cookies, and marshmallow.
This is pretty good, but it’s honestly too intense, and I know, that is the name of the beer. There’s just so much vanilla and marshmallow flavors here, with that super sweet chocolate cookie thing. There’s no real roast character, and not a ton to balance out the heavy and syrupy sweetness.
This is syrupy, super thick, and heavy, with a slow sipping feel to it – it took a while to get through.
Tree House is usually reasonably well balanced, even in their pastry stouts, but this was a bit over the top.
