Double Nectarous Fruit Salad is a Double IPA brewed with a studious selection of fruit-forward American hops, mango, peach, guava, passionfruit, and tangerine purée, and a touch of milk sugar.
Pouring a vibrant orange color into the glass, it conjures rich impressions of tropical creamsicles, tropical fruit gummies, tropical fruit salad, white sand beaches, and clear blue water.
Meticulously brewed to be incredibly flavorful yet deliciously drinkable, Double Nectarous Fruit Salad is a delightful beverage with wide appeal--Enjoy!

16oz can courtesy of Roguer.
Poured into a shaker pint glass, this was a very hazy yellow color, with a big, creamy, off-white head. Lots of lace.
Remember those little cans of fruit salad from the supermarket? I'm not sure if they're still carried, I haven't had it in years, but it smells like that, but if someone had made an ice cream from it that had subsequently melted.
Fruit forward but not overpoweringly so. Perhaps it would be stronger if it were a little fresher. That's on me for not getting to it in time, or maybe it's on Roguer for completely burying me in beer! Sweet up front, with a little bit of pithy bitterness midway, through, and then a sweet, milky fadeout.
Creamy, milky mouth feel.
This is a very pleasant milkshake IPA that does not beat you over the head with the lactose. I'm finding it quite drinkable, which could be a problem if attempting to session, as it is 8.2% alcohol by volume. Quite nice stuff, the kind of thing only one or two breweries in my region tackle, and not on a regular basis. I'd definitely hit it again.

L - pours a drab orange with hints of grey/green. Meniscus-forming head that jiggles and jostles every time you so much as breathe on it.
S - mango, papaya, and pineapple. Lightly dank with a punch of guava to sweeten things up.
T - guava is the dominant flavor with tropical fruit punch flavors bringing up the rear. Bubblegum, cantaloupe, and honeydew. All the decadent favorites in one spot. Tangerine and clementine citrus help to balance the sweetness and make it more refreshing. Fruity and delicious. Finish is mellow with light bitterness.
F - silky smooth like Egyptian cotton. The lactose really helps to add body and fullness.
O - a guilty pleasure beer. The bubblegum/melon combo can't be beat even if it doesn't have much depth. High ABV adds a bit of warmth and stickiness, complemented nicely by the milk sugar.

Pours hazy, gold in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is fruit salad, orange and guava stick out. Medium body and carbonation, slightly bitter. Makes for a solid if not indistinguishable neipa. Good for most breweries. Ok for Tree House.
