Cordial is an imperial stout aged for 16 months in rye whiskey barrels and then conditioned atop cocoa nibs and cherries. The resulting stout is richly complex, with a medium body and dense flavor profile.

Pouring like chocolate syrup into the glass, we taste baker's chocolate, spiced dark fruit, barrel heat and chocolate-covered rye whiskey candy.

A beautiful lace clings to the side of this glass adding to the appeal of this complex, artful barrel-aged delight! Enjoy!

Had on tap at Sandwich. Pours opaque, dark brown in color with minimal head. Taste is big barrel, milk sugar, and faint dark cherry. Heavy body, low carbonation, slightly sweet. Super boozy. Glad I did not get a bottle...seems like an above average barrel Aged beer but missing the cherry...

Intriguing nose, replete with notes of oak, cherry, chocolate, and neutral booziness.

Flavor follows: it's rich but not overly sweet. Tasting notes include cherry, chocolate, whiskey, oak, caramel, and coffee.
