Each blend in our Thrice Cream series begins as a purposefully-blended selection of Truth And Quadruple Shot aged between six and twenty-four months in bourbon barrels. For the strawberry variant, we blend in Truth, aged in a Cabernet Sauvignon barrel, and boy, is it beautiful! The fruity undertone from this thread of the blend is bolstered by the addition of strawberry powder in the conditioning tank.

Pours like chocolate syrup. Aroma is almost neopolitan. Flavor is rich chocolate with strawberry. Feel is a little bit thick, but it suits this beer. Overall, it's impressive. Very much a beer to be enjoyed on its own or with some chocolate desserts.

Pours opaque, jet black in color with minimal head. Taste is big barrel, red wine and light strawberry. Heavy body, low carbonation, slightly bitter. Least favorite of the Thrice Cream series. More wine than strawberry. Need more fruity flavor. Just an ordinary bunch of barrel Aged stout. Very disappointing.

Canned Winter 2023. “Mmm Stout season” stamped on the bottom of the can
And onto the next beer from my recent run to Tree House. I originally wanted to grab the Thrice Cream pack that had a single can of each variant, but it was sold out by the time I ordered it unfortunately. Given that the individual ones were sold in 2 packs, I only went for this one as it sounds the most interesting of the 3. Lets get into it
Pours nearly pitch black with a finger of dark reddish brown head that fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing
The strawberry is definitely evident in the nose, and works really well over their rather sweet base Stout. I’m picking up on aromas of chocolate fudge, strawberry ice cream, medium roast coffee, caramel, jammy red wine, sweet bourbon, toasted oak, and light vanilla
The strawberry is even less subtle in taste, but not overpowering. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting jammy strawberry, sweet red wine, milk chocolate, burnt caramel, sweet vanilla, brown sugar, and light bourbon. The swallow brings notes of strawberry ice cream, sweet bourbon, sweet red wine, burnt caramel, cocoa powder, molasses, and light oak
A full body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a rich and chewy beer. Finishes quite sticky but still rather drinkable
This is an all around good one. The strawberry is present but not one-note. Hopefully I get to try the others at some point
