This is a Very special beer. Very Jalagreeño is a rendition of Very Green conditioned on jalapeños!
Pouring a beautiful hazy yellow color into your glass, the nose carries an aromatic bouquet of pepper earthiness and spicy pineapple. The flavor follows suit with firm but flavorful heat throughout the glass, which plays beautifully with the intense sweet pineapple characteristics of the base beer.
Very Jalagreeño is one in our endeavor to make fresh and imaginative beers that are enjoyable all the way through the glass, time and time again.

Three week can pours gluggy burnt orange golden, with a fluffy head that sticks around. Aroma is pineapple, citrus, and light jalapeño . Taste reminds me of pineapple jalapeño pizza, spicy. It’s just not a style I would seek out. Now I want a slice of pizza, dang!
This ipa mellowed as it warmed and bent toward the Tree House mean, which is an excellent mean

Tree House Brewing Co. "Very Jalagreeño"
16 fl. oz. can coded "LIVE SPICY 05.01.26". Sampled on 05.23.26
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a murky golden-orange body beneath a full head of white foam. The aroma is tropically fruity/citrusy (pineapple/orange), resinous, and spicy. I am finding some jalapeño too, but it is mild. Very nice. On to the taste - it's initially resinous and tropically fruity/citrusy (pineapple/orange/guava/lychee/passion fruit) inside a blanket of rich malt but the jalapeño flavor pops in quite quickly. It doesn't seem that strong but let's see how it develops as I progress through the glass. The malt is very wheaty and somewhat oaty. The bitterness doesn't seem to be too strong but combined with the alcohol and spiciness it finishes dry, although some of the rich malt remains, fading slowly, as there's just so much there that it has to stick on the tongue. Following that, the alcohol and spiciness remain, although minor. It's definitely one of the longest lasting aftertastes that I've ever experienced. In the mouth it's full bodied, gently crisp, and then velvety smooth because of all the extra proteins. Back to the jalapeño, the heat hasn't built up on me, which is great - this is no Crazy Ed's Cave Creek Chili Beer! I think it's nicely balanced, yet at the same time there's so much intensity to the "Very Green" base beer that the peppers are a little bit lost. Is that good? Is that bad? I don't know. I feel like I'd like a little more pepper flavor, and I could even take a little bit more heat, but at the same time it's just an addition to the "Very Green" which works very well.

16oz can with illegible date code.
Pours cloudy gold with an inch of dense white head. Persistent retention with plenty of spongy lacing. Orange, peach, mango in the nose with faint pepper. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Juicy and ripe on the palate with mild heat that slowly builds in the finish. Peach, mango, jalapeños. Finishes juicy with mild heat.

Picked-up two cans at Tree House in Sandwich for about eleven dollars. My three hundred and seventh brew from these guys. Liked a bit more than Jalagreeño.

This Green variant doesn't bring the heat on the nose but it certainly delivers peppery flavor. The heat is well balanced and never gets too much. But, even in modest doses, the heat overwhelms the delicately crafted flavors of the base beer.
This offering paired nicely with two slices of plain cheese pizza.

From a 16oz can dated 03/21/23. Liked this more than its partner, Jalagreeno. Similar profile, but maybe the higher ABV is a better match for the spice.
