Empress Julius is an amped-up rendition of Queen Julius brewed with a novel blend of hops resulting in an immensely juicy beverage. The addition of classic American hops, including Cascade of various origins, brings about whispers of sweet floral character that melds perfectly with the celebrated base beer.
The Empress pours a turbid orange color into the glass and carries easily distinguished notes of ripe honeydew melon, juicy citrus, gooey papaya, and sweet honey. The Empress is a beautiful beer and one worthy of the stately name it holds—Enjoy!

Look - bright thick orange with a nice white head and sticky lacing
Smell - floral citrus with citrus, melon and papaya
Taste - about the same as the smell but sweeter
Feel - medium full body with a slight creamy light carb
Overall - tasty

Pours hazy, orange gold in color with one inch head. Taste is less dank Doubleganger, dry citrus. Heavy body, moderate carbonation, bitter. Nice beer but far from Tree House's best. Will drink up the four pack but am probably good after that.
