L - enjoyed on a rainy Saturday early afternoon. Juuuust missed this as my morning coffee. Motor oil into the glass with a deep, menacing, crimson hue to the head. Legs for days at even the slightest jostle. Light swirling reflects beautifully in the thin, velvety layer that's left. Like seeing the creation and destruction of galaxies.
S - cherry cola mixed with chocolate syrup and vanilla wafers. Sweet caramel iced coffee.
T - thick cherry syrup hits first, drizzled over sugary graham crackers crushed atop a coffee ice cream sundae.
F - syrupy, lip-smacking, and supple.
O - rich and decadent. A hell of a dessert beer that avoids artificial sweetness so commonly found in cherry or vanilla beverages. Truly emulates the raw "dark chocolate" version of those flavors, but still delivers on a diabetic dose of sweetness. Drinker beware.

Excellent head production and good retention; little lacing worth noting.
Strong nose, mostly highlighting the malt base and the coffee, but there is a nice, fine cherry note cutting through the richness. Additional notes of caramel, toffee, chocolate, and prune.
Balanced and smooth on the palate. Much like the nose, the cherry cuts through the rich base without becoming a distraction; it's very complementary. The vanilla is entirely complementary, and doesn't really stand out on its own, but certainly contributes to the overall rich and creamy presentation. Tasting notes include chocolate, coffee, caramel, toffee, toast, cherry, wheat bread, molasses. No char; very low bitterness.
This is perhaps one of the best Quadruple Shot variants I have had, at least going on memory - going by score, as well, easily ranking in my top 3 (again, of QS variants).
