Heavenly is our Oatmeal Stout. Brewed with a hyper-complex assortment of pale, chocolate, caramel, and roasted malts and a massive dose of oats, Heavenly is loaded with character.
The heavenly experience begins as soon as you open the can. Immediately you are greeted with a pitch black beer that pours like dark chocolate into your glass. The bouquet presents with notes of fudge and deep caramel with the flavor following suit. The body is rich and velvety no doubt influenced by the rich texture of the oats that it contains.
Heavenly is one in a long line of Tree House beers that looks to history for it's execution and presentation while layering in our own touch and consideration. We hope you are able to enjoy it in good health and in good cheer.

Pours black with a two-finger brown head that dissipates to a coating.
Aromas of bitter chocolate and roast coffee start us off after the pour, with some vanilla coming through as it warms.
Semi-sweet chocolate and roast bitterness dominate early on, but everything mellows out a bit as it opens up. I continue to get primarily chocolate and coffee with not-quite-burnt sugar and oats joining in. It ranges from roasty up front to slightly sweet as it lingers on the tongue, and then finishes back with a pleasant dry roastiness that coats the mouth until you next sip.
Carb is nicely muted and doesn't take away from the silkiness of the oats. Medium bodied.
Overall, this is a really nice oatmeal stout. I appreciate how much flavor they've packed in below 6% and that they stuck with a lot of roast bitterness instead of going too sweet. The only drawback for me is that I think it should be fuller-bodied.

16oz can dated "spring 2023".
Pours opaque brown with a half-inch head of tan. Minimal retention or lacing. Roasty and biscuity in the nose. Bakers chocolate, oats, light char. Full bodied with a chewy mouthfeel. Chocolate-drizzled oats with espresso on the palate. Finishes dry and roasty.
Nice change of pace from THs fudge, sweet stouts. Very traditional.

Pours a dark brown color with over a finger of head. The nose is fairly muted - the sweet vanilla stands out the most, but it's not terribly bold. The flavor profile has modest notes of bitter chocolate and a slight roasted quality.

Lighter look and taste than the Tree House milk stouts I’ve come to love, but once I got over that, it’s a very good beer for its style. I can’t distinguish all the different flavors that some others claim. The nose is particularly light. But on the palate, the roasted barley flavors and mouthfeel are excellent.

From a 16oz can, date-stamped ‘Spring 2023.’ Served in a stout glass.
Pours cola-black with two fingers of super-soft sturdy tan foam. Retention is excellent, leaving a wispy cap, a creamy collar and a rousable sheet of thin lacing.
Nose is roasty and nutty. Aroma of coffee beans.
Tasting smooth, medium-roast coffee, brown sugar, pound cake and chocolate pudding with a rich, creamy finish.
Feel is smooth and creamy, no more than medium bodied but with fine, brisk carbonation making it feel lighter. The can label promises ‘rich and velvety’ and it delivers.
Overall, excellent. One of my very favorite styles, and executed flawlessly. Previously a gaping hole in Tree House’s product portfolio, I hope to see this in regular rotation.
