Curiosity 129 is our latest endeavor to push the envelope of hoppy beer through attentive trial and exploration. Brewed with a blend of pale and caramel malts and hopped aggressively with juicy American hops, Curiosity 129 is imparted with a novel flavor profile through the use of a new-to-us yeast. It pours a beautiful hazy orange color into your glass and presents with notes of juicy melon, ripe peach, mango, and juicy fruit gum. A standout in the series, it has inspired us to go down the rabbit hole of modern yeast with an aggressive exploration of what is new to us brewers. Stay tuned for more, but in the meantime, enjoy what this novel Double IPA has to offer - it's a great one, indeed!

Appearance: Pours a cloudy apricot nectar color with a three finger head; strong retention and splashy lacing
Smell: There is some graham cracker in the aroma which underpins the melon, Juicy Fruit gum, peach and mango tones
Taste: The combination of graham cracker and toffee dominate the flavor profile, with the melon, peach and mango providing a subtle counterpoint; low bitterness, through the middle, with a hint of lime; the finish verges sweet though there is residual bitterness in the back that gains strength as the beer warms
Mouthfeel: Medium body; somewhat creamy with moderate carbonation
Overall: An interesting flavor profile here though not something I would put at the top of the list of what I seek in the style
Thanks, SpeedwayJim, for the opportunity

16oz can dated 3/3/23.
Pours cloudy gold with an inch-plus head of white. Plenty of tattered lacing and persistent retention. Candied peach, mango, orange in the nose. Pungent. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Peach, orange, mango on the palate. Finishes juicy and a bit sweet with minimal malt or bitterness.

Can from Jeff, thanks for the hookup.
Hazy lemon orange color with opaque clarity and a huge frothy white head that persists. Pineapple melon stone fruits with a bit of bready maltiness to back it up. Really nice.
