This special rendition of JJJuiceee Project features Citra + Citra + Citra. I know, it's crazy, isn't it? Featuring our favorite American hop in the kettle and dry hop, this rendition of the JJJuiceee also adds a layer of juicy complexity thanks to a concentrated liquid hop product called Spectrum. We have a close relationship with our American growers, which has enabled us to maintain a steady stream of amazing Citra throughout the years, and this beer represents the ultimate showcase of this legendary lupulin bomb. Pouring a ridiculous turbid yellow color into your glass, Citra + Citra + Citra carries an aromatic eruption of fleshy orange juice, passion fruit, and mouthwatering mango. It carries a sharp bitterness that fades quickly.

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Canned June 16th 2025.
Custard like thick yellow and quite turbid, with an almost volcano slow seeping of sludgy like bubbles coming up from the bottom. Thick topped cap off white head. It's just ginormous. Thick retention and staying power I mean it just wont even budge at four fingers of height and girth. Kind of ridiculous but just controlled enough for a booming IPA. Just wish it wasn't so sludgy like looking.
Big hop forward nose that actually hits more in grass than expected citrus. Still there's also a light creamy sweetness of vanilla kicking in behind here which is nice also. More of a tropical note seems to come out more so as time goes on too which is nice.
Very nice soft palate on first sip, with mixing that vanilla flavor in for a creamy experience. Mid palate hits more of grass and dry green herbs, with little touches of almost flour dry malt. Mild touching tropical pineapple on the finish, flirting almost pina colada like in flavor. Good finishing bitterness that hits with a good lingering white pepper heat that is a nice change of pace.
Pretty neat tasting IPA, but kind of all over the place too. Can't complain that much though.

It’s a Tree House IPA, of course it looks good with a beautiful foamy head that dissipated very slowly and left fine lacing coating the glass. Smells like Citra, Citra, Citra, with ripe grapefruit, tangerine, orange peel, lemon, mango, guava, yuzu, fresh cut flowers, herbs, coriander and mild peppery spices. Tastes exactly like the aroma with the additions of orange creamsicle, hints of pineapple, a little bit of peach and dry chalky yeast. Much smoother than expected at 8.7% ABV, it was soft and buttery feeling with very mild bitterness and very little carbonation. A really easy drinking IPA.

An unsurprisingly beautiful beer in the style. Good head production and retention; very nice lacing.
Aroma is absolutely bursting with the expected citrus-forward notes of tangerine and orange, along with melon, mango, and papaya, but also a surprising amount of herbal notes (oregano, fresh basil) I normally associate closer with New Zealand hops than Citra.
Super smooth on the palate. Tree House IPAs aren't always soft and pillowy, but when they are, they present arguably the best mouthfeel in the style.
For a beer advertised as Jjjuiceee Project, it certainly delivers on the palate. This is an explosively juicy beer, primarily tropical (mango, papaya, passion fruit) along with some citrus (mandarin orange), with just enough sweetness to emphasize and reinforce these fruity notes. Very low astringency and bitterness; no noticeable expression of the herbal notes from the nose.
With as many amazing IPAs as Tree House has put out, it's easy to dismiss their beers as, "Ehh, it's good, but it's nothing new." This beer may indeed not be anything particularly novel, but the execution is simply so near perfection that it's hard not to be blown away. This beer tastes and feels nothing less than awesome.

Pours a yellowish orange. Mango and orange on the nose. Mango, orange, and grapefruit. Nice rounded mouthfeel in that classic Tree House fashion. Maybe lacked the depth of the Julius family but a really nice beer.
