House Lager Lime is an American Light Lager made entirely with flaked corn and malt from our friends at Thrall Family Malt in north-central Connecticut. In a sea of beers that invite innovation and genre-bending experimentation, House boldly holds to tradition.
A brewer’s beer indeed, House Lager Lime brings a bright and zippy twist to this classic style. Rather than source a flavoring adjunct, we collaborated with Tree House Distillery to utilize a freshly made batch of lime extract. We think you’ll be able to tell the difference.
House Lager Lime reminds us that using simple, expressive ingredients can translate into world-class beverages. Light, characterful, & easy to drink, House Lager Lime carries notes of grain, sweet corn, and bursts of thirst quenching citrus.

Picked up a four pack of bottles at Tree House in Sandwich, Massachusetts for about twelve dollars. My three hundred and sixty eighth brew from these guys. Ok, not much of a step up from the usual maco offerings.

Consumed 5/24/23
Yellow body, clear (how unusual for a Tree House beer), medium carbonation, retains a small white collar
Light grains, light bread, minimal hints of light malt, touch of corn sweetness, touch of lightly grassy hops, hint of lager yeast, truly charming lime aroma and flavor, nice acidic bite and does not taste at all fake or syrupy, just bright, fresh lime to balance out the light graininess, finishes with some nice sharpness
Light body, crisp, medium carbonation
Only 1 review so far? Tree House fanboys scoffing at the idea of a light lager with lime are missing out. If you like this style, House Lager Lime is the absolute pinnacle. It is the Pliny the Elder of light lagers with lime. It is the Westy 12 of light lagers with lime. Those comparisons are nonsensical, but you get the point; if I were rating purely to style, this is a 5/5 across the board.

Can dates spring 2023, “with lime” printed on the can, poured into a pokal, fluffy two finger white foam over a clear yellow liquid with active carbonation streams
Aroma is limey, grains
Taste is lime , bud light-ish
Light, fizzy, would be a good beer on a hot humid day after cutting the lawn with a push mower
I’ll order a lawn service, this is a one and done for me
