What’s not to love about PB&J? This classic fuels little brains across the country—it satiates appetites en route to soccer practice, trumpet lessons or any of the other million things the Moms in our lives do for us everyday.
This beer is brewed with Pale and Chocolate malts, lactose, coffee, cacao and gobs of peanut butter. On top of those decadent ingredients we then condition it on strawberries and raspberries, adding layers of sticky sweet jam. Mom’s Ray of Sunshine exhibits notes of milk chocolate, dark brown sugar and, of course, rich roasted peanuts & sweet summer berries.
Until we find a way to cut this beer into triangles, we can’t think of a better way to honor our Moms than pouring a tall glass of this liquid nostalgia.

The smell from the head was great. Sweet with slightly roasted notes and you can catch the slight peanut butter. The taste is very sweet at first then fairly bitter afterwards. Take to bigger swig and you know the alcohol is there. For me the sweetness is slightly to sweet and the bitter is slightly too bitter. Wish it was a bit more balanced. Also get any on your hands and its pretty sticky, but after all its PB&J inspired so i guess they have nailed the brief

Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass canned recent, says Summer 2024. Pours a very attractive near pitch black with 2 plus finger sticky mocha head that leaves thin lines of lace with amazing retention. 4.75

Aroma peanut butter, chocolate, coffee, toffee, with a hint of raspberry and strawberry it all works well. 4.5

Taste follows peanut butter and chocolate are dominant, with some coffee, toffee, raspberry, and strawberry in very small rolls and it works extremely well. 4.5

Mouthfeel is above average, soft gentle carbonation, not sticky or dry, and at 7.6% drinks slightly larger. 4.5

Overall this one is very impressive. I am so happy they didn’t over do the fruit, very nice stuff. 4.5

Pours opaque, jet black in color with one half inch head. Taste is big peanut butter and coffee with light jelly. Sweet, slightly roasty/bitter, low carbonation. Standard Tree stout...needs a bit more jelly but I like the base so I am not complaining. A good not excellent beer.
