We are pleased to introduce a fresh spin on the JJJuiceee Project, this time featuring Peacharine & Idaho Gem! This distinctive, novel hop combination is abundant in the kettle and the dry hop, enhancing the juicy character far beyond an ordinary Tree House-style IPA.

Our close collaboration with growers has granted us hand-picked access to these fantastic hops, and this beer embodies the ultimate celebration of these promising lupulin purveyors. Pouring a mouthwatering hazy yellow into your glass, Peacharine + Idaho Gem delivers an aromatic medley that calls to mind peaches, red hard candy, citrus, juicy stone fruit & fruit gum. The sharp bitterness is fleeting, enticing you to savor the next captivating sip. What an experience! Enjoy!

That lovely Treehouse look. Maybe even a scoche thicker than I'm used to. Glossy meringue head. Nose hits me as I'm pouring it. Intense fruitiness and not much else. The flavor comes across a bit earthier than the nose led me to expect which isn't a bad thing. As it warms in the glass, it kinda flips. More of the fruitiness comes out in the flavor and the nose becomes a little more earthy (I hesitate to use the word "bitter" but it has a tiny edge to it). It's not quite to the levels of over-the-top juiciness that some of their beers are, even in terms of mouthfeel. Once again, though, this is not a bad thing. As it warmed, and I assumed as I "warmed" as a result of it, these contrasts became less clear and the beer generally rounded out. A very nice beer.

From a 16oz can, dated 07/17/23. Served in a spiegelau IPA glass.

Pours an opaque milky orange with a finger of creamy suds. Retention is fairly excellent, leaving a foamy cap and a rousable sheet of thin, tattered lacing.

Nose is straight-up hard candies. Aroma of LifeSavers - not sure which color because maybe all of them. More bubblegum-like as it warms.

Taste is less sweet and with more gritty bitterness than anticipated. Tasting nectarine, peach pit and grapefruit, berries, melon and gummie worms but with a distinctly herbal, almost minty finish. A citric-type grapefruit peel-and-lime sort of bitterness builds and lingers.

Feel is juicy and hop-gritty with a medium-creamy body and fine, tingly carbonation.

Overall, deliciously over-the-top and stupidly - probably needlessly - over-hopped. It was a uniquely complicated flavour profile that was fun to sit and try to tease apart - though I doubt I did it justice.
