The beer in this can is the result of extensive travel in search of the best and most unique expressions of our favorite hops.
Garston Hops is located in the Southland of New Zealand, hundreds of miles removed from any other Kiwi hop farm. This geographic location imparts a taste of place in this Cascade that is like no other grown in the world. We are the only brewer outside of New Zealand to utilize these hops. It is an exceptional experience—Enjoy!

Packaged in a 12-oz can simply stamped “WINTER 2024”. It was purchased at the Charlton location 2-days ago. Poured to a Pils glass at fridge temp.
It has a very clear light gold body with magic bubbles rising throughout the session. A decent puffy ultra-white head sits above. Lacing is nice also.
The aroma is fairly sweet and a little musty but nice. Common bread and pepper notes are not there.
Taste is floral and the sweetness in the aroma turns to a pleasant bitterness on the finish.
The body is light with mild oiliness. Carbonation is a little over medium.
This is a supper easy drinker. I could see this as a great summer activity beer. Not sure it will be around though.

L: golden mostly clear (but a touch of cloudiness), foamy white head that bubbled out pretty slowly
S: a balanced fruity aroma
T: fruity grapes; somewhat sweet up front, but more dry on the back end. Not particularly grainy
F: Light and bubbly, makes it an easy drinker
O: I know its a German pils base - but this is more of an IPL than anything; I sure did love it either way

12 oz can
pours a fairly clear dark yellow color, with foamy white head. I get more of the typical NZ hop flavors - white grape and melon than the Australian Cascade version. thin to medium bodied
