Phantasmagoric appears! A double IPA born of a brewcraft that conjures the very essence of New Zealand's hallowed hop fields, this spectral elixir beckons with notes of white wines which dance with the spirits of grape skins, unveiling a spellbinding tapestry of flavors.
In the gloaming shadows, this seasonally apt blend whispers of fields where moonlight kisses the vines, and where dank forests echo with forgotten incantations—calls that summon a haunting crescendo of otherworldly aromas. Utilizing Mega Motueka, this magnificent, thiol-enriched hop pellet adds otherworldly amount of extra-tropical, extra juicy flavor.
Phantasmagoric is a libation of enchantment, calling out to the curious to indulge their senses in each sip. Enjoy, and live well!

Pours a murky orange with white head. The aroma on this is truly sensational. Candied citrus? Some white grape? It smells a little like an orange skittle and I know a lot of people don't like the orange skittle but I mean this sincerely as a compliment. The bouquet is premium. The beer itself presents very Nelson and perhaps riwaka forward. I get those white wine notes as well is that herbaceous lime note. The body is a little light for a DIPA verging on a TIPA. The nose is the star here and the rest feels like window dressing. Rather unfortunate because it smelled like there was something special going on.
