The soul is a stubborn essence that does not fade quickly; it lingers in the air, the Earth, and the comfort of the familiar scenes within our lives. Much of the work we do not only honors the past of those around us but also stakes a claim in the ether to leave something behind for future generations to build upon. There is a feeling of longing for those who are now gone; our work means to honor their persistent presence and bridge the past with the present. We Live Among Ghosts pauses to reflect on what we’ve lost while honoring what was left behind. It is a Tree House-style Double IPA brewed with a new yeast blend and the best American hops we can source from the fresh crop. It is juicy, refreshing, and delicious.

Pours a very hazy, turbid yellow color with a dense, creamy white head that leaves moderate lacing and sporadic bubbles and a ring on the body of the beer. Gorgeous hazy.
The nose features lots of mango and grapefruit notes, along with pineapple and star fruit notes. The taste replicates the nose, with the mango and grapefruit notes most prominent and very tasty, with the pineapple and star fruit flavors in the background. Deliciously drinkable.
The mouthfeel is on par with other Tree House hazies, soft and inviting, adding to the drinkability. This is outstanding, IMHO.

Had on tap at Sandwich. Pours milky, pale gold in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is starfruit and light mango. Medium heavy body, moderate low carbonation, slightly bitter. This beer is more soft than punchy. New Zealand but not in your face New Zealand.

Looks like a typical Treehouse DIPA - yellow-gold and opaque. Smell is kind of a mix between the beers that used the yeast derived from the Dataset experiments (beers I didn't think too highly of), and Treehouse classic beers, so maybe this "new yeast blend" is just that. Taste is mango, orange and mixed citrus, with a good dose of zesty pith. Carbonation is a little stronger than I was expecting, leaving a pleasant tingle on the sides of the tongue after swallowing.
Overall an excellent beer.
