Indulge in the golden embrace of our Belgian-style pilsner, Parel—an homage to tradition and historic craftsmanship. Brewed with Belgian pilsner malt, a venerable yeast strain from west Belgium, and a blend of Czech Saaz and German Saphir hops, this Tree House original is naturally carbonated for a smooth body and pleasing disposition. Pouring a brilliant golden hue with a robust head of foam, it unveils a clean, crisp, and zippy profile that will surely satisfy your thirst. Enjoy notes of lemongrass, juniper, and a soft, noble character that lingers on the finish.

Very clear golden in color. HEad was frothy and white but also quick to fade. Nose is herbal like lemongrass and hints of malt. Taste was bready. Nice bitterness on backend.

On side pull tap at Tree House Brewing Company in Saratoga, NY.

This one pours a clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like fresh cut grass, lemon peel, juniper, and bready malt.

If this is supposed to be Stella Artois-like, it’s definitely reminiscent while being significantly better. It’s got a more defined hop character – spicy, juniper-like, with lots of grassiness, and a softly bready feel to it.

This is fairly light bodied, and super clean and refreshing, with a smooth crisp finish.

I love how varied the lager selection at Tree House always is – just about the only place I’ve ever seen offer a “Belgian-style” pilsner.

Pours a clear golden straw color with a nice fluffy white head.

Very hoppy aroma. Peppery spice, lemon, and light bread.

Tastes of lemon zest, wet grass, sweet doughy bread, and lavender. Faint spicy hop finish.

Feel is medium-light bodied with good carbonation. Dry and crisp.

Pretty good Belgian lager. Mostly true to style. Crisp and highly drinkable.

Pours slightly darker than I expected, but nicely clear with a small but persistent head. Smell is of saaz hops and lemongrass. Taste is clean and quite dry with a tingly carbonation. A well-executed Pilsner.
