Faith In A Positive Outcome utilizes the base of Silver Fern to introduce a new hop variety we are excited to try out called Elani. Elani is a lovely and expressive hop that puts out notes of citrus and stone fruit with hints of guava, white peach, and orange zest throughout the tasting experience. A creamy body and decadent head allow you to drink with your eyes before enjoying the juiciness of this little riff. A promising hop, each time we try new things in brewing - and in life - we must maintain our optimism and the Faith In A Positive Outcome.

Had on tap at Sandwich. Pours hazy, bright gold in color with one inch head. Taste is muted New Zealand hops, grapes and peach. Medium light body, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter. Nice neipa. Not as musty as some of their other New Zealand ipas. Would get again.

16oz can dated 11/21/24.
Pours cloudy gold with an inch-plus head of white. Plenty of tattered lacing and persistent retention. Orange zest, unripe peach, mango in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Ripe peaches, mango, hint of vanilla on the palate. Finishes juicy with minimal malt or bitterness.

From a 16oz can dated 11/21/24 into a pint tumbler. Can message: "El Fiapo" :shrugs:
Pours an opaque light orange with about two fingers of fine, tight white head. Great retention and incredible lacing.
Nice aromas of orange, orange peel, peach and lemon.
A lot of orange peel zest in the taste. Some peach and white grape. Nice bitterness throughout.
Classic, full-bodied, soft, creamy TH mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Zesty bitter aftertaste.
I'm not sure if I'm all about this new hop "Elani" (my first experience with it) but this is a well put together beer.

Like all TH DIPA’s, it pours cloudy gold/orange color and faded slowly, leaving real nice lacing. The nose and taste were a combo of tangerine, grapefruit, orange juice, mango, fresh cut grass, lemon zest, tropical fruit, dry hopping accents like tea leaf, coriander and peppery spices, then citrus fruit as it fades. I’m not sure what this new hop (Elani) brings to the table but there was a lot of tropical fruit to in the mix, so I think I like this hop.
