he Prodigal Haze Part I combines Citra, Nelson, and Motueka to create a symphony of tropical fruit flavor. Brewed with pale malt and a hint of extra light caramel malt, it has a hefty malt body to balance and propel the nearly eight-pound-per-barrel dry hop. Pouring a hazy, deep yellow color into your glass, it explodes on the palate with notes of candied citrus, sweet white wine, and ruby red grapefruit. It finishes softly with minimal alcohol presence, enticing your next sip. We find the best beers to be just as enjoyable at the end of your glass as at the beginning, and The Prodigal Haze Part I embodies this ideal beautifully.

Pours a very hazy yellow color with a creamy white head that absolutely clings to the glass. Gorgeous hazy. The nose is all about dank citrus aromas, with sweet oranges, grapefruit, and passion fruit most prominent. Delightful nose on this beer.
The taste is led by that sweet orange, tart grapefruit, and exotic passion fruit triumvirate of citrus flavors, with a nice bit of sweet oats for balance, complemented by a full, soft mouthfeel. World class stuff here, IMHO.
