Bear With A Hint Of Honey is a rendition of our beloved Brown Ale with a judicious application of local wildflower and sourced orange blossom honey. Pouring a very dark brown color into your glass, it puts forth comforting notes of brown bread, dark candy, and mixed nuttiness with a pleasant and consistent impression of honey. Artful, simple beers are easy to overlook. We encourage you to enjoy Bear With A Hint Of Honey with a thoughtful palate and appreciate its intended subtleties.

Canned Spring 2024
I’ve only had the OG Bear and the Big Bear Coffee in this series, and I’m quite intrigued by this one. I’m a sucker for honey in beers and I don’t see it utilized nearly enough so I had to jump at the opportunity for this one. Let’s crack it open and find out what it’s all about
Pours a very dark brown with 3 fingers of frothy light tan head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves decent lacing
The nose is way sweeter than I was expecting and it reminds me. bit of a Baltic Porter which I love. I'm picking up on aromas of peanut butter, milk chocolate, walnut, dark bread, sweet honey, red grape, book leather, black tea, and light herbal hops
It has more bite to it in taste, different from the aroma but still just as good. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting dark toast, cocoa powder, black tea, honey, light roast coffee, red grape, light orange zest, and earthy hops. The swallow brings notes of red grape, walnut, book leather, dark toast, acrid coffee, black tea, herbal hops, and cocoa powder
A medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a slick beer with a bite. Finishes bone dry and refreshing
This was better than I was expecting and even better as it warmed up. Definitely worth a try
