Don’t Be Afraid is a Tree House Double IPA highlighting an iconic quartet of New Zealand hops—Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka, Waimea, and Motueka. Pouring a brilliant, hazy sunshine color into your glass, it conjures impressions of kiwi, juicy white wine, pulpy citrus, and pineapple. It carries a dense hop saturation that will reward your palate as you make your way through a glass. Don’t Be Afraid is our tribute to the enduring spirit of humanity. Beyond the simplicity of rising to meet daily challenges, it contemplates much deeper meaning. We toast to the mysteries of our human experience yet to unfold, knowing that whatever lies beyond is as comforting and natural as what came before.

This one pours a very hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like melon, lime, pineapple, pink grapefruit, and guava.
This is absolutely a New Zealand hopslosion, with all sorts of citrusy and exotic fruity goodness, and just a slight floral bitterness. It’s mostly lime and sweet, pink grapefruit, but you can definitely pull all sorts of interesting flavor profiles out of this one – melon, tangerine, orange, etc.
This is creamy, and very drinkable, with a nice smooth finish.
This is fairly decadent, rich, and absolutely delicious.

12oz pour in Tewksbury.
Cloudy gold in the glass with moderate head and retention. Big dankness in the nose laced with weed and garlic.
Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel.
A bit raw and bitter on the palate with unripe mango, peach, white grape, orange.
Finishes a bit raw and green.
