Infused with cascades of vibrant, fresh pineapple purée, The Pineapple One is an innovative reinterpretation of its predecessor, The Biggest One. It’s more than just a beverage—it’s an audacious tribute to fresh pineapple!
Characterized by an unforgettably vibrant hue, The Pineapple One reveals an exhilarating symphony of flavors in your glass. The dominant note is ripe pineapple, intertwined subtly with a tropical fruit medley and the sweetness of mango nectar.
It is truly a flavor powerhouse, crafted with a generous array of taste-infusing ingredients at every stage of the brewing process. At the heart is a heaping dose of fruit-forward American hops, both in the kettle and dry-hop stages, amplified by buckets of pineapple purée in the cellar. This intense raw material burden produces a beer of distinction and enormous flavor. We hope it can make you smile as you enjoy it!

L - murky, burnt yellow. Not as much cling action as The Peach One, but still frothy and still delicious-looking.
A - candied pineapple adjunct aromatics. A splash of mango and other ripe stone fruit. Not as pungent as usual TH fare, although I could still smell this all day.
T - ah, saved all the flavor for the, well, flavor. Huge blast of rindy pineapple up front a la Green and Friends, but that's where the similarity ends. Light bubblegum complements the sweet, sugariness. There's even a hint of spice heat, which I'm attributing to pineapple's natural twang. Bit of lemon cream on the finish to round things out with subtle hop bitterness.
F - immediately smooth, rich, full-bodied, and creamy. Velvet pineapple.
O - there's a lot going on here, and it does seem kind of disjointed, even if all the flavors are individual winners. Pineapple is always a crowd favorite and of course there's plenty of that TH signature juice, but the high ABV and battle between bitter and sugar makes it hard to focus on any one flavor. Tug of war in my mouth.

Picked up two cans at Tree House in Sandwich for about thirteen dollars. My three hundred and fiftieth brew from these guys. Canned on date of 3/13/24. Fine, a bit too boozy for me.

Perhaps the best compliment you can give to a fruited IPA (or flavored beer of any kind, for that matter) is that you don't really notice the extra flavors - at least, not in any over the top manner. It just blends seamlessly into the base beer, complementing the flavors from the hops, malt, and yeast.
Is this such a beer? A 9.4% NEIIIPA, but this time, with pineapple puree?
In a word: YES!
This is unbelievably smooth and delicious. I think the OG beer, The Biggest One, is a fantastic example of a super potent and super hoppy NE IIPA, but I had my doubts that the pineapple puree would actually improve the beer.
And perhaps the puree doesn't improve the beer, exactly, but it certainly doesn't make for a lesser experience, either.
Tasting notes are a melange of fruity flavors, including pineapple, but it's not dominant, allowing sharp citrus and lush earthy tropical notes to come through, as well, along with a slightly bright green herbal note. Sweetness is relatively low considering the ABV and the pineapple puree; there's a very natural, fibrous taste to the pineapple.
Excellent treatment of The Biggest One.

Pours ultra hazy, pale gold in color with one half inch head. Taste is big pineapple, and bubblegum with light hemp. Heavy body, moderate low carbonation, bitter. Juicy ultra Tree House pineapple. Exactly what I thought it would be. Pineapple beer on steroids. I like pineapple do this is a yes.
