Beauty of Riwaka is a companion beer to Moutere Magic utilizing our tried and true hopping process. Using literal buckets of Riwaka, Nelson, and Motueka, this New Zealand Double IPA encapsulates what is possible by brewing with these legendary hops.

Pouring an attractive yellow color into your glass, it carries exceptionally juicy notes of clementine, passion fruit, lime, and peach with a distinctively tropical resin finish.

This beer was brewed during this time to celebrate our brewing and cellaring teams as they descend upon the valley for the annual New Zealand hop selection. We look forward to presenting it to the growers who work so hard to bring us unique and characterful hop experiences the world over.

L - pours a sludgy, turbid pale yellow. I expected nothing less from NZ hoppage. Lightweight, jiggly head with gyroscopic tendencies as the top layer remains still while the rest wobbles beneath.

S - musty and vaguely tart. Purple grape, earthy hops, and green stonefruit.

T - big burst of Galaxy as the pineapple creamsicle comes rushing in, accented by mango, lemon-lime, and green onion. Dank and resiny, good balance of hops and juice. Lightly bitter finish with that mild tartness returning.

F - velvet cream. Low intensity, high viscosity.

O - I am totally loving TH's recent foray into NZ hops. Green has always been a favorite of mine and now it seems whenever I make the trek, I come home with a case of purely NZ. Ain't mad about it.

16oz can dated 3/26/24.

Pours cloudy gold with an inch-plus head of white. Plenty of tattered lacing and persistent retention. Dried mango, white grape, unripe peach in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Cracked garlic, green onions on the palate with minimal malt or bitterness. Finishes dank and weedy.
