Slow Jig is a celebratory milk stout brewed with vanilla beans, marshmallow, and cacao. Pouring like chocolate syrup into your glass, it carries decadent notes of fluffy marshmallow, chocolate cream, and vanilla sugar cookies with a smooth and medium-bodied appeal that won't weigh down your palate. We hope that you are able to enjoy it with good cheer and in good health with those who mean the most to you. Sláinte!

Supposedly “marshmallow milk stout”, not much on the nose. More when warm. Palate is bitter mostly (coffee?) but no identifiable, to me, flavors of chocolate or vanilla that are said to be there. Not bad, just not sufficiently interesting. Fine as a St. Paddy’s Day special.

Had on tap in Sandwich. Pours opaque, dark brown in color with one half inch head. Taste is marshmallow fluff, sweet milk chocolate, and peat. Sweet, moderate carbonation, heavy body. Tastes like a Tree stout. Maybe a bit more sweet than other Tree stouts. Solid stout wise but there is not as much going on here to get me as excited to leap and get a four pack. Tree House makes way more interesting, and less sweet dark beers. Maybe I am spoiled but I am fine with this one being seasonal.

Pours a deep dark brown color with a half finger of tan head and beige edges. There's not much on the nose. The flavor is dominated by bitter chocolate that turns modestly syrupy on the finish. There really isn't much marshmallow here. The mouth feel is sticky.

I don’t know if subtle is quite the right word to describe the aroma, but it is properly restrained, and doesn’t leap out at you with the additives. Notes of chocolate, toffee, vanilla, coffee, and cream.
Conversely, on the palate this one immediately notifies you of its richness - although it’s still not over the top. A modest amount of roastiness barely balances the notes of chocolate, coffee, and vanilla. Additional notes of sweet grapes, toffee, and toast.
