For this rendition, we’ve taken bucket loads of Galaxy grown exclusively by our friends at Hop Products Australia in their Tasmanian hop garden, Bushy Park Estates. Bushy Park Estates has a storied hop-growing lineage stretching back over 150 years. This reliability produces incredible Galaxy, showcased here with notes of underripe pineapple, lemon-lime, and earthy citrus, with a tongue-coating tropical hop oil finish.

Rochester ,NY Pop Up supplied this can: pours gluggy, ochre yellow 90% impenetrable to light, big froth head with a shiny sheen. Big pineapple on the nose. Taste has passion fruit , peach, lime zest, medium smaky num num,. @Woodchipper, imo the terrior is in the earthiness, or other factor that is in the taste. My base information is Tree house Green. This discussion leads me to Fox Farm, and Suarez Family brews in that the waters and earth are distinctive. Feral feel of Tasmania hops, I feel it, do you?

Purchased cold at the Deerfield brewery yesterday and kept cold until served. Poured from a 16oz can stamped “LONG DAYS AND PLEASANT NIGHTS 04.30.26” to a nonic.
The body is opaque and light yellow, SRM 1. A little off-putting actually. The 1/2in/15mm head is bright white, thick and lasting, made of bubbles small enough to give a whipped cream appearance. The head fades slowly to a 1mm layer. Lacing is elegant evenly spaced rings, all the way to the last drop.
The aroma on pour is a strong version of an uncut pineapple. In the glass lemon and lime rind dominate.
The taste is nicely bitter with rind-like flavors dominating. Pineapple sneaks through but low-key. The finish is really dry, but welcome.
The mouthfeel is medium thick, for a hazy, carbonation is appropriate.
This beer is a nice way to learn about Galaxy. However, without other versions in front of you, how can you judge terroir?

My college buddy brought a couple tall boy cans of Tree House beer to share at a House Party for the OSU vs ORE game.....which OSU lost by a point. It poured a hazy yellowish with white head that left some lace. The scent and taste had exotic tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer!

16oz can dated 3/10/24.

Pours cloudy gold with an inch-plus head of white. Plenty of tattered lacing and persistent retention. Pineapple, white grape in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. A blast of hops on the palate with a substantial bitterness. Dank citrus, minimal malt. Finishes fairly dry and bitter.
