Insight & Inspiration is a companion beer to Pride & Purpose. The concept of Pride & Purpose came about for Tree House when we spent our days toiling in the Monson Brewery. It so perfectly encapsulates our work. Building Tree House in the manner that we did—relentlessly, without respite — prohibited us from venturing far beyond the brewery walls. Now in our 12th year, we are finally able to visit the places we’ve dreamed about in the brewing world for many years, and those places have provided extraordinary Insight & Inspiration for our ongoing brewing endeavors. Insight & Inspiration combines the best of the insight gained during our recent Pacific Northwest and New Zealand travels.

Moderate finger plus head, cream white color, nice retention and even surface, lacing close to nonexistent. Nose of mango, papaya, persimmon and moderate dankness, on the tarry side, pine resin, feels creamy in the nostrils. Full-bodied, fairly soft as the carbonation adds more of a prickle than a churn. The tropical fruit is quite sweet. But it is front loaded so after the initial surge the beer turns dry. Curious lack of citrus flavor, even after letting it warm some. About the same lowkey level of dankness here. But nice earthy and tarry notes. Smooth and with some lingering flavor, appreciate the lack of bombast. (Canned 3/28/24)

16oz can dated 3/28/24.
Pours cloudy gold with an inch of white fluff. Peach, orange, pine in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Ripe, juicy citrus on the palate with minimal malt and a balancing bitterness. Unripe peach, orange, grapefruit. Finishes fairly dry.
