Faint haze with a straw to green-hued bright gold. Moderate starting head which leaves several wide streaks and some minor spots.
Leans to the malt with little flowery hop. More closely resembles the Helles.
More raw grain flavor than expected but the overall flavor is more balanced with the hop bitterness softly standing out. Crisp and refreshing without a strong level of carbonation. Easy to drink with a solid German feel.

Pale gold, clear, with a tall white foam head.
Nose is a touch metallic of allium-like qualities, but also grassy.
Taste is far more pleasant of toasted corns contrasted by an unabashedly bitter grassiness that verges herbal, even into heart of romaine.
It cleanses well in the finish while quite light and crackly beforehand.
