Curiosity 142 is a 6.4% lager aggressively hopped with Citra, Amarillo, and Nelson. It contains all of the bright hop character you would expect from a modern translucent West Coast-style IPA with the smooth body and texture of a Tree House lager. It's wonderful and hits the spot on hot days like today.

a tasty summery hoppy lager with high refinement, held back bitterness, and definite notes of lemonade and umbrella drinks from the pleasant mix of hops and careful dosing, thought this was excellent, modern, and highly drinkable, even though the abv is a little more robust than i would have guessed, this is a beautiful boat beer, right from the can, its impressive just how many beers across how many styles these guys are doing so well! golden and frothy headed, looks pretty polished and very well carbonated, high shine, pretty beer, very inviting. citra, amarillo, and nelson in here, and i can smell and taste all three of them doing their thing, a relatively complex and layered profile for something that presents as light and simple. the nose is more meyer lemon and green and orange melon, citra and amarillo ahead of nelson, light cereal malt at the center of this, a clean lager strain and a nice crisp cleanness to the whole thing, faint middle malt sweetness. the flavor is a bit more nelson forward to me now, white wine, green eating grapes, pear, key lime, white florals, and fresh cracked coconut, still some citra lemon curd type character in play, and some generic hop bitterness on the swallow thats nice with the quick finish and noninvasive, quick on the palate overall. subtle frozen lemonade to this, honeysuckle, and even a cool culinary herbal thing, lemon thyme or something. it warms up well but i hardly let it, drinks bright and easy even with light hop oil character on the tongue. brisk and quick to finish with a very mild lager yeast taste. excellent summer beer, poppy and refreshing, fresh and well hopped. bravo.

Slightly foggy yellow gold with a tall white head that retains well.
Smoother and rounder than typical, nelson makes itself known, gently, while pairing with some johnny cake and orangey vanilla.
Though the finish is bone dry, the middle is all over the place stylistically.
