Curiosity One Hundred Forty-Seven pairs a bit of an odd couple together: Nelson & Simcoe! The passion fruit notes from the Nelson blend seamlessly with the Hawaiin Punch and red berry notes from Simcoe. This is a unique and delicious entry into the series.

This one pours a nice hazy yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like red berry, maybe strawberry? It also smells like grapefruit, clementine, and passionfruit.

Nelson and Simcoe is a fun combo for this one – there’s an earthy berry skin and clean piney bitterness from the Simcoe (probably) along with passionfruit, peach, and white wine from the Nelson (also, probably). There’s a nice balance of juiciness and bitterness for this one.

This is light bodied, creamy, and hides the booziness fairly successfully.

It’s wild to imagine how far along this series has come – they’ve made so many of these, and so many of them have been very tasty.

Very tasty. Very fruity. I'm getting lots of pineapple. There is a bit of the Nelson's aspect lending this to have a bite in the finish that's not quite as smooth as is typical of the style from these folks.

Picked up a four pack of cans at Tree House in Sandwich, Massachusetts for about twenty one dollars. My three hundred and fifty third brew from these guys. Very good, very expensive.

Pours a very hazy pineapple color with a creamy white head that coats the glass with ringlets of lacing. Beautiful hazy.

The nose is full of tropical fruit punch and passion fruit aromas, as well as some berries. The taste amplifies the tropical fruit punch flavor, which is delicious, and the passion fruit and berry notes fit that flavor perfectly, as does the bit of sweet oats.

The mouthfeel is soft and a bit chewy, as expected from the TH hazy family. This is really well executed, IMHO.
