Sherman is our whole cone-hopped rendition of our beloved Red IPA, Sequoia. Named after Gerneral Sherman, this giant Sequoia is the largest of its kind residing the Giant Forest Groves of California. To honor its colossal stature, we intensified our hop regimen with some of our favorite varieties.
Sherman pours a mahogany hue with brilliant white foam that clings to the glass after each sip. On top of its rich malty base, a hefty charge of whole cone Chinook and Simcoe brings forth aromas of fresh mandarin and grape fruit zest followed a by sticky pine resin.....

Cloudy, deep amber hue. Thick off-white head with good retention.
Very citrusy aroma. Lots of fresh grapefruit and lemon with some sweet caramel and dough.
Taste follows. Lots of citrus with a hit of pine. Nice caramel malt backbone.
Medium bodied with moderate carb. Creamy, smooth, and dry on the finish.
This is a very good red IPA. It lacks the hop punch of a beer like Nugget Nectar, but retains a nice balance and drinkability.

Deep and dark pour, mahogany shaded with a hop punch to the nose upon opening. Super soft and mellow carbonation allows the maltiness to combine with the piney hop bitterness in exemplary fashion. Velvety smooth in feel, a pleasure to drink and consume all the sensations this beer creates. This beer is more than how it tastes, a masterclass in what a beer can be. Red IPA excellence
