The peeking warmth of spring, the firefly’s neon speech of hot summer nights, campfires glowing as bright as the autumn ember leaves above them, crystalline blankets shimmering, tucked against their frozen winter streams—in all things, there are illuminations and promises of brighter days ahead. Brighter Days is a dry-hopped rendition of Sleepless Nights—a classic Tree House Helles. It pours a beautiful pale golden color with a tireless white head. Subtle aromas of sweet malt meld with bright floral citrus. It carries flavors of biscuit and honey that give way to amplified notes of marmalade, lemon jam, and blood orange candies. Brewed with a blend of American and German Hops before a modest cold side addition of Amarillo grown and processed in Germany courtesy of Virgil Gamache Farms. This is a lager not to be missed!

Pours a nearly clear golden color with a fluffy white head that provides a surprising amount of lacing - it literally coats the glass.

The nose has a nice bit of malt sweetness and floral hop aromas, which are all amplified on the taste, with a bit of biscuit and a dollop of honey on the malt side, accompanied by spicy noble hops lingering at the back of the palate after some citrus flavors including lemon and orange mid-palate. Delicious stuff.

The mouthfeel is very clean and crisp. This is a little hoppier than a “normal” Helles, but the label provides ample notice that will be the case. It’s an excellent interpretation of the style, IMHO.
