Milky Haze is a rendition of our flagship Double IPA brewed to carry an even greater hop saturation and opacity than the original. It encompasses the sum of all the knowledge we have gained experimenting with new malt, yeast, and processes over the last two years. You may wonder what separates this beer from the original Haze—well, just about everything. We utilize a softer water profile, wheat in the grist, a different yeast blend, and a hop charge 30% larger than the original. Pouring a milky yellow color into your glass, it leads with juicy stone fruit, citrus, and mango notes and finishes with a firm, short-lasting bitterness.

Thanks to my friend MrDarcy for this thoughtful gift.
The beer poured an opaque yellow ochre hue. Medium bodied for the style. The liquid was topped by a frothy, finger-tall, bright white crown that quickly dropped to a medium sized, resilient collar. Drippy rings of lacing trickled down the sides of the glass.
The aroma was outstanding. It was intensely hoppy but also super smooth with a potent, juicy fruitiness. Big citrus presence. Nice mix of orange flesh and sweet candied citrus peel. Loads of tropical fruit notes as well. Ripe mango was most apparent, followed closely by guava and papaya. Nice honeydew melon quality as well.
The flavor profile was also super hoppy and fruity but not quite as smooth as the nose. Citrus notes came through big time. Loads of juicy citrus flesh up front. Ripe mango was also noticeable. Nice peachy quality too. Bright wheaty notes appeared in the center. Some tart and tangy lemon as well. Hint of honeydew melon. More orange and orange peel on the back end and in the finish. A bracingly bitter, orange rind-like pithiness carried into the finish.
Outstanding creamy, supple mouthfeel. Medium-full bodied for the style. The liquid contained a fine, zippy effervescence that turned amazingly fluffy and smooth on the palate. The heavy oat addition made this go beyond pillowy soft.
Tree House Brewing consistently turn out the most amazing hoppy beers on the planet, and Milky Haze was yet another feather in their cap. The aroma on this beer was truly spectacular, and the mouthfeel was possibly even better. This is a beer definitely worth seeking out.

L - milky, hazy, completely opaque, yellow with a creamy off-white head that dissipates somewhat slowly, leaving behind a thin cap, leaving some lacing behind
S - soft pineapple and mango, some citrus, slight pineapple
T - Follows the nose - pineapple, mango, citrus, some peach followed by piney, though slightly bitter, hops. Fleeting hops reminds me of king Julius. Tons of malt/oats to give it that creamy mouth feel
F - full bodied with moderate carbonation. Very soft and milky
O - appropriately named, this is definitely a milkier version of haze with a heavier, creamier mouth feel, with subdued hops. It's a great NEIPA

Pours milky, pale gold in color with one inch head. Taste is big peach, white sugar, and melon. Slight alcohol burn, slightly bitter, moderate low carbonation, slightly bitter, heavy body. Not a game changer but this is good Haze. Not disappointed by buying a four pack. Good stuff.
