Night falls, colors fade and a secretive work begins. Imagine the jungle of New Zealand as a cross section starting with the tail of the Milky Way—bright and frozen in its celestial spin. As we descend through this living roof, hands of all shapes and sizes traverse the smattering of vine and limb. Underneath the roil of life, in dirt as black as night, a crown unfurls fit for a king.King Fern is a Double IPA as robust as its namesake. Poured vigorously, a cloud of white rises above the glass carrying the amplified hop notes explored in our Fern series. Citra swirls with Peacharine, bringing forth character of orange zest and floral summer peach. Following behind, Motueka brings notes of ripe passionfruit and lime to this special blend.

Pours cloudy opaque golden pale yellow with a dense creamy white foam head. Notes of peach, nectarine, mango, papaya, passionfruit, dark berry, lime, grapefruit, orange citrus, sweet vanilla cream, slight toasty caramelized bready malts, and dank resinous floral earthy herbal pine sap. Feels medium-full bodied, creamy with smooth moderate carbonation. Overall a real great DIPA.

Pours a super hazed gold with 2 fingers of fluffed up eggshell colored head. Very good head retention & better lacing
S: Pretty darn dank, some pine & tropical fruits to include pineapple late
T: Pineapple whip, cattyness, green melon, grapefruit, dryness, & a little peach as well up front. Pomelo, dryness, green melon, papaya, guava, plenty of pine as this beer warms up, and more pineapple, plus guava. Finishes with pineapple, pomelo, papaya & piney dryness
MF: Medium body, creamy carbonation, nice balance, a little acidity, clings to the teeth some as well
A ton of pine, but enough fruity flavors to keep this very drinkable

This one pours a hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells super tropical and exotic, with passionfruit, peach, candied lime, vanilla, and grape.
The Fern series is just so delightful, without fail. This tastes unbelievably soft, creamy, and like hop candy. There’s lots of lime and grape, with nice hit of peach, maybe even some coconuit or vanilla, with passionfruit and stone fruit.
This is creamy, and super drinkable, with a smooth and luxurious finish.
This is dynamite, as usual for this brewery and series.

L - creamy, opaque straw/yellow with a frothy white head that leaves some lacing behind
S - apricots, peach, bright piney hops. Some orange on the nose as well. Smell could be stronger
T - apricots and peach up front and throughout. Some orange in there as well. bright piney hops up on the back end, but they are very softened and the bitterness is muted. A good amount of malt in there to soften things. Some melon in there. Maybe vanilla notes?
F - full bodied with moderate carbonation. Soft, silky, smooth
O - apricots, peach, orange, some melon with a good amount of soft creaminess. This is one of the more unique TH NEIPAs that stands apart from their core series.
