Chocolate and mint: a duo that never fails to entice the senses! The decadent swell of dark chocolate has always been the perfect companion to the appealing character of fresh mint. We brewed this treat with a complex array of chocolate malts, dark chocolate, coffee, and a careful addition of sweet peppermint. Pouring jet black, this delightful stout is as decadent as it is refreshing. Aromas of fresh chocolate cake, after-dinner espressos, and peppermint crumble frosting waft out of the glass. Following behind are notes of melted brownie and a sparkle of candy cane. Truly a combination for any occasion, our Peppermint Chocolate Stout will surely delight!

Pours opaque, dark brown in color with two thirds inch head. Taste is big peppermint, milk chocolate and roasted malt. Medium heavy bodied, moderate low carbonation, slightly roasty. I am not a mint fan. That said this is way more balanced than a lot of recent Tree stouts. The first sip is like wow mint but it mellows. It has stout flavor. A pleasant surprise.
