Haze Against the Dying of the Light is a Double IPA utilizing a distinctive blend of fruit-forward hops. Pouring a hazy yellow with a bloom of sticky white foam, tropical aromas lift out of the glass. Citra bursts with notes of Valencia orange and candied grapefruit peel, melding with apricot and resinous pine notes from Idaho 7. Vista hops lend sweet aromas of honeydew melon and bright green tea.

Pours a light milky orange color with a 1F head and moderate lacing.

Smells of floral and grassy hops with citrus and sweet fruit.

Tastes of lightly tart grapefruit , resin, orange, pineapple and mango with a lightly bitter, salty and warm finish.

Medium body and light carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel.

This brew is lightly juicy but mostly lightly tart and bitter on balance. Maybe too much for some but all good for me.

Poured into a 13 oz tulip glass canned on 2/14/25. Pours a very attractive hazy milky yellow with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves loads of thick lace with excellent retention. 4.75

Aroma is papaya, passionfruit, pineapple, peach, mango, tangerine, and apricot. 4.5

Taste follows papaya, passionfruit, pineapple, peach, mango, tangerine, and apricot. 4.5

Mouthfeel is above average, soft gentle almost creamy carbonation, not sticky or dry, and 7.8% it is loaded with flavor but real easy going down. 4.75

Overall this one is rather amazing for me. It reminds me why they are the best at brewing this style. 4.5
