Truth is the ultimate expression of Tree House Barrel-aged stout. Masterfully blended from our best barrels aged between eighteen and twenty-six months old, it carries notes of chocolate candy, sweet vanilla-like oak, tootsie rolls, and baker’s chocolate. It’s elegant, balanced, and intentional—a testament to the artistry and patience poured into each barrel. To elevate this character to new heights, we’ve crafted a limited run of Espresso Truth. This variation was aged on “Darkside,” our house dark roast. Flitting between the dark chocolate notes of our base beer are aromas of sticky molasses and candied walnuts. It’s a decadent embrace of everything we love about Truth—only more robust, luscious, and delightfully original.

L - Motor oil black with a thin tan head that dissipates immediately, leaving behind no lacing
S - dark roasted coffee grounds, rich chocolate, molasses
T - Dark roasted coffee up front and throughout intermixed well with rich chocolate, fudge, molasses, slight oak and bourbon, as well as vanilla, followed on the backend, by dark roasted coffee and sticks around a bit
F - Full bodied with light carbonation - smooth, silky, sticky, syrupy
O - Espresso seemed like a natural addition to Truth and this one pays off, the roasted coffee makes Truth's flavor profile even more decadent
