This legendary bear left us two legacies that we celebrate with this beer: progeny and protection. Not only will her spirit be carried on through her cubs lives, but her fame brought attention to the importance of the Grizzly within these ecosystems.
Queen of the Tetons is a delicious cream ale made with heaps of a grizzly’s favorite snack: huckleberries. Pouring a light golden color, aromas of fresh-baked rolls and sweet huckleberry jam lift out of the glass. Notes of dark, juicy berry compote cover the palate before a clean, dry finish. We hope you toast the Queen of the Tetons and pour a dram out in her honor.

Poured from the can into a nonic(k) pint glass.

Pale muted rose like color, with quite a bit of clarity and nice amounts of rising carbonation. Fluffy topped white head, pock marked top with at first three fingers of suds, but then goes to light lather like retention.

Very nice fruit aroma, berry like with an interesting tart angle that comes in. Flirts with pine notes and some degree of almost grape like sweetness as well. Not much hinting other beer like presences though.

Palate is a little surprising. Dry mid palate with a little touch of berry like fruit, but also hinting quite a bit of peppery like bitterness. Finishes with a bit of dry flour grain, and light bodied wet mouthfeel. Quite surprisingly hoppy for a cream ale with a mix of pine and spice bitterness in the aftertaste. Mild sensing berry character.

Nice tasting fruited beer, but doesn't really come off like a cream ale to me from what I was anticipating. Still pretty solid regardless.

Had on tap at Sandwich. Pours clear, reddish gold in color with one inch head. Taste is huckleberry and wheat. Light body, clean, slightly bitter, moderate high carbonation. Reminds me a lot of Sea Dog and Leinenkugel in a good way. A nostalgic wheat berr. Refreshing.
