The Double IPA you are holding right now is our newest riff on our breakfast-themed beers: Wafflenanner! Brewed with Grade-A maple syrup, a deliciously chewy malt bill, and banana purée, this beer is fit for a classic diner. Pouring a cloudy orange, Citra hops creates base notes of fresh-squeezed OJ and bright grapefruit juice. On top of its fruit addition, we utilized an experimental hop variety, HBC-638, which lends creamy notes of tropical banana ice cream! Sweet maple and fresh banana collide and encapsulate the spirit of a rich and fulfilling breakfast, replete with fresh compote on top

One of the very few drain pours I have had from Tree house. I could get past the banana taste, but it seemed to have a nutmeg element. I think I have reached the point where I want my beer to taste like beer. After dumping this beer, I opened up a bottle of Maine Lunch and I was in my happy place.

Canned 4/22/2025. Pours an amber-orange with lots of cloudy haze. Nose and palate scream banana, with lots of sweetness from the maple syrup. Very well-made and creative, but you really have to love banana to enjoy this one.

Pours hazy, orange gold in color with one inch head. Taste is big banana, with berries and maple. Heavy bodied, moderate low carbonation, slightly bitter. Tree House does banana ipa better than any other brewery. This is sooooo much better than the berry version. Cannot find fault with this. Definitely get Doppelganger.
