Canned 4/30/2025. Very hazy, dark orange color. Lots of tropical fruit on the nose and palate. Very smooth mouthfeel and, for an 11% abv, surprisingly smooth finish with less heat than expected..

They’ve done better, although this is decent.

16oz undated can.
Pours turbid dark gold with a thick, dense head of off-white. Plenty of tattered lacing and persistent retention. Extremely pungent in the nose. Orange, peach, mango puree. Somewhat full bodied with a tacky, chewy mouthfeel. A concentration of citrus-infused hops on the palate. Candied peach, sugared orange, dried mango. Finishes sweet with lingering hop candy.

Picked up two cans at Tree House Brewery in Sandwich, Massachusetts for about thirteen dollars. My three hundred and sixty fourth brew from these guys. Canned on date of 4/30/25. Way above my ABV comfort level, but tastes nice, not too boozy.

Pours a murky dark orange with a 2F silky head and heavy lacing.
Smells of grassy, resinous hops with slightly dank citrus and sweet fruit.
Tastes of lightly tart grapefruit, orange, mango and cantaloupe with a mildly bitter, boozy warm finish.
Medium body with light carbonation. Lightly lush and syrupy mouthfeel.
This brew is a big juicy NEIPA with a lot of well balanced taste and smell nuances.
Might be a bit too much for some, but not for me!

Tree House Brewing Co. "Evolution of Citra Part 6"
16 fl. oz. can coded "BEST COLD DRINK FRESH 4.30.2025". Sampled on 5.17.2025
$13.50/2-pk from the brewery
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a murky light-orange body beneath a thumb's width of densely foamy off-white. The aroma is pungent and citrusy but not bold. The taste is malty with some clear oat and wheat flavor. The hops are resinous, earthy, citrusy with orange and a hint of lemon, peach, gooseberry, and maybe a bit of melon. It has some clear alcohol to it and I can't tell if that's what's giving me a floral note of if it's from the hops. There's also some "hop burn", and bitterness so despite it having a whole lot of malt to it the finish is dry. In the mouth it's full bodied and gently zesty on the tongue with carbonation and alcohol. For hop heads and those who like intense high alcohol brews this one will satisfy.
