Clear light gold pour with very slight haze. Smell is muted, but there's malt and Spruce. Taste is quite gentle too - some nice bitterness but it doesn't overpower. The beer is sort of a cross between an IPA and a hoppy lager, presumably because of the use of Pilsner malt. There's also some notes of citrus rind. Not really a West Coast IPA (Tree House Westy is much nearer that style), but whatever you call it, it's a nice addition to the ever-increasing Tree House range.

Drinking in a large snifter.
Pours a slightly hazy copper with a full foamy head.
Smells some of spruce.
Nice smooth full mouth feel.
Tastes some of pine resin.
Tree House’s attempt at a West Coast IPA.
Not bad.
