The three snow-packed peaks shine brightly under the New Zealand sun. The ice shell and powdery drifts below them in turn feed the pristine waters of Nelson Lakes National Park. Nearby, nestled on the border, is Mt. Ella Station, which in a previous life had been a thriving dairy farm operation. Its agricultural past has a new life now as the Nelson Lakes hop farm, which grows some of our most prized lots. Mt. Ella Station is a New Zealand IPA that pours a brilliant yellow with a thick head of sticky foam. To represent its unique terroir, we blended hand-selected Paradisi and Cascade from this remarkable region. Notes of white grapefruit, sweet guava, passionfruit tea, and bright pine burst from the glass. This beer honors the history.

16oz can from gracious BA @jzeilinger
Poured into a Tree House willi becher
P pours an opaque light orange color w/ 2-3f of slightly off-white head; maintained a dollop of foam as the glass emptied; heavy lace
N med to med bold orange, biscuity malt, and lush green hops; nice
T lots of lush green hops, sweet orange undertones, white grape, and light biscuity malt; this is good; vanilla comes out as it opens up; really well-executed profile
Mf med to med-full bodied and lightly creamy; med to med-high carb
O one really well done ipa; flavorful and super drinkable- hits all right notes; thanks, J!

Canned 6/12/2025. Features Paradisi and Citra hops from New Zealand. Pours a densely hazy yellow. Label cites notes of white grapefruit, sweet guava, passionfruit tea, and bright pine. Pretty accurate, especially on the palate. The nose seemed subdued. Pleasantly bitter finish.

Really enjoying this beer. Purchased in Sandwich, and drinking on the deck of the rental in Wellfleet looking out over the ocean. Grandkids just went to sleep. Doesn’t get any better than this!
The first reviewer did a great job describing the attributes. I’ll leave it at that! Bliss!!

I bought a mix 24 pack at the Saratoga Springs location, and this was included.
A New Zealand style DIPA made with paradisi and cascade hops.
Dank af. Reminds me of how I felt years ago when mosaic hops were taking the world by storm. Very peaty. Great spin on their more famous beers, but with that inhaling-a-temperate-rain-forest edge to it.
Not going to be everyone's favorite, but I'm glad to make the first review for a beer that might well have been custom-made just for me.
