A beer with this type of description tends to be a huge letdown once you taste it. That is definitely NOT the case with this one.
This beer is exactly what it says.
It’s like drinking a 7.0% sour patch kid, but way better. Tastes a bit mango and a bit lemon.

Partly foggy orange-amber with a khaki head of moderate height.
It almost smells dank but it's also like stanky, drippy peach with crabapple, but for some faint biscuit in the exhale.
Taste is pungent, drupey stonefruit, pomme and perhaps even passion fruit.
Brightly refreshing.

Tree House's description seems to put this forward as an example of a new style - a "sour IPA". I assume that means it uses basically an IPA malt bill and hop schedule, but uses a blend of yeasts that include some wild yeast. They say they chose fruit-forward hops for this.
Pours pretty clear gold with just a hint of haze. The head dies down quickly, leaving behind a thin raft of bubbles. Smell is a little muted, just hints of sour yeast. But the flavor explodes in the mouth with dried mango in the foreground, and perhaps tart lemon too. Very nice. Definitely a sour ale, but not over-the-top sour.
I hope this goes into rotation.

Had on tap at Sandwich. Pours murky, gold in color with one inch head. Taste is mango and sour mix. Light bodied, sour, moderate carbonation. Nice. Better as it warms. A lot more sour than I was expecting.
