This West Coast Double IPA Hyperion brings waves of blueberry, strawberry, lemon zest, and woody pine resin. Hyperion is a hophead’s dream, utilizing a blend from some of our favorite growers from the Pacific Northwest. Poured vigorously, peaks of sticky foam erupt above the rim and leave white switchbacks of lacing cascading down the glass. Strata and Mosaic hops bring waves of blueberry, strawberry, and dank earthy notes across the palate. We then add a charge of McKenzie hops, which pop with aromas of bitter grapefruit, lemon zest, and woody pine resin. We hope you enjoy this beer while contemplating the natural treasures of this world.

Drank August 2025
From a 16oz can dated 7/28/25 into a pint shaker. Can message: "Hyperion not pictured shhhh" whatever that means...
Pours a clear golden orange with about one and a half fingers of white head. Nice retention and lacing.
Aromas: Floral, onion, earth, berry, grapefruit.
Flavors: Berries and dankness, grapefruit with a bitter backend. Slight buttery/oily taste.
Sticky, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel. Low to med carbonation Bitter aftertaste in background.
Nice enough. The weird buttery taste is a little out of whack but otherwise a decent stab for a modern WCIPA.

Pours an almost clear gold with a small but persistent white head. Smell is a little muted, mostly pine with a hint of lemon. Flavor doesn't hold back, with mixed berry notes washed with grapefruit pith and pine, and again just a hint of lemon.
Another west coast IPA from Tree House. I will update this review after comparing it back-to-back with Westy.
