The Space Between Truths: Further Reaches is a pure barrel-aged stout consisting of two distinct batches of Truth—one aged 28 months, the other 36 months—which is then blended with a single batch of barrel-aged Space & Time aged 30 months. This extended aging further melds its decadent body with the oaky spice of the barrels that held it during its rest.
It is a complex expression of threads from our barrel program blended such that we accentuate the best individual attributes of each. We enjoy notes of chocolate-covered bourbon candy, chocolate-covered raisins, and oaky vanilla in this one-of-a-kind treat! Enjoy!

Picked up a 12 oz bottle from the TH Deerfield facility 10-1-25 for $20.00. No bottle date but presumably 2025; consumed 5-8-26. Consumed at 58 degrees.
Beer poured jet black with a pretty good brown head that is hanging on dearly around the rim.
Nose has notes of dark chocolate, vanilla, oak, and booze.
Taste is a large medium roasted malt base that emits notes of dark chocolate. Barrel brings a touch of vanilla, lots of oak, warming bourbon, and balance with each sip.
Mouthfeel is medium to large bodied with each sip being velvety smooth.
Overall, have to say this was worth the splurge, nicely done!

2025 bottling (released Sept. 5 at the brewery). 13.7% abv per the label. Poured into a Tree House-branded snifter.
Almost jet black color, with no head - just a few bubbles on the surface. No lacing save for a few bubbles here and there as the beer is swirled in the glass. The liquid leaves a thin film and a good amount of legging on the side of the glass.
Caramel, bourbon-like notes of cherries & faint vanilla, with some pipe tobacco in the background.
Mmmm. The first thing to hit is caramel sweetness, followed by chocolate covered cherries. A bit of roasted malt balances the sweetness. Delicious flavor. No one flavor stands out but are perfectly melded.
Full body in this one. On the finish there is an oaky-tannin texture providing a drying on the palate.
A very pleasing barrel-aged stout.

It's fact that two things can be true at the same time, Tree House puts two of them in a bottle for a beer that's simply "truth". Two distinctive extended age bourbon barrel stouts finally meet in a seamless blend of elegance.
Thick, black and nearly crawling out of the bottle on it's own, The Space Between Truths roll out Further Reaches- a lavish stout that tops off with a shy release of foam but an expressive scent of chocolate, molasses, soothing spice and caramelized perfumes. As its nougat-like sweetness coats the tongue the deep and dark malt sugars are met with espresso bean, toasted char and light campfire for elevated savor. As a coffee-like bitterness brings a shy attempt to balance, the barrel's soft tannins, vinous maturity and peppery booze steps in to give the beer roundness, palatability and charm.
Full bodied and decadent throughout, this is a Space for true stout lovers.

Had on tap at Sandwich. Pours opaque, jet black in color with minimal head. Taste is big bourbon, roasted malt, with a kiss of vanilla. Heavy body, low carbonation, roasty. Excellent straight stout with, yes, no coffee. Complex sipper. Worth a splurge.
