Cloudy brownish amber color. Decent bar-poured head which leaves many streaks and spots on the glass.
None of the vanilla or coconut is picked up in the smell. Instead I get the typical faint pale malt with a notable earthy hop.
The taste is very “Julius” with a brief bready pale malt up front followed by the aforementioned earthy hop. Fuller body with a fine (as in small bubbles) carbonation presence. The vanilla only shows up in the swallow and remains faintly in the longer aftertaste. I do not get any coconut, though.
