Poured from 16oz can into my 8th Wonder chalice. Date on can just says "Winter 2026".
Appearance: rich kinda amber-orange hue with a moderate haze and a thick finger of dark ivory foam atop.
Smell: sweet and rich malt aroma with plenty of rye character that so frequently reminds me of strawberries. Along with that are notes of grapefruit and lemongrass from the hops. It's not bad, but honestly it doesn't really float my boat.
Taste: the fruitiness and spiciness imparted from the rye work a bit better in the flavor than in the aroma. Berry mixes with toastiness and grapefruit peel to give an interesting flavor profile. The bitterness is pretty solid here, too.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I think I want to like this beer more. I appreciate its more complex elements, but the thing just doesn't come together for me as a whole.

Canned "winter 2026." As the label describes, reddish-orange in color with moderate haze. Chinook, Cascade and Amarillo hops, notes of "fresh citrus peel, pine resin, and earthy hops...peach and lemon candy." Very good.

Surprisingly underwhelming beer from a brewery of their caliber and portfolio.
Nothing special in the appearance- somewhat muddled with a very thin cracking, fizzy head; aroma is bright and lightly floral; taste follows the muddled appearance: kind of a wash of bready grain and light floral hops, with some faint resinous and dank citrus. A slight, welcomed bitterness, but no bite or spice of rye. Mouthfeel is, like the beer, somewhat unremarkable.
