Year of the Horse pours a glowing orange color into your glass and delivers a wallop of hoppy notes into the air! Our friends at Eggers harkened back to a world where our agrarian lives were deeply intertwined with a sense of mysticism; this lot of Nelson was harvested under the lunar eclipse of the harvest moon. Pouring a glowing orange color, notes of crushed white grape, passionfruit soda, lychees, and mango nectar burst from the glass!

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 2/11/26 into a Sensorik goblet.
Appears with a bright orange color and full-on haze. There is about an inch of white head, settling to a thin cap, some beads of lacing.
Aromas of passion fruit, white grape, orange, citrus zest, perhaps a hint of mint(?).
Flavors of passion fruit, white grape, mango, orange zest. There is a mild bitterness initially that builds on the finish, pretty mild overall though.
Medium body, nice softness on the palate, among the smoothest I've had in a while.
Very enjoyable, flavorful IPA.

Hazy, pumpkin orange in color. Frothy, white head. Nice lacing. Nose is pineapple and sweet. Taste is sweet and pineapple. Very smooth, soft mouthfeel THEN good bitterness takes over.

Had on tap at Sandwich. Pours slightly hazy, orange gold in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is smooth peach and mango puree with white wine hop bitterness. Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter. The taste is so smoothed out, it loses most of its overall flavor. Not bad but just not memorable.

Canned 02/11/26. Another lovely NE DIPA by Tree House. The brewery's description is spot on. Tropical fruit on the nose and palate, smooth finish and very satisfying.
