Truth is the ultimate expression of Tree House Barrel-aged stout. Masterfully blended from our best barrels aged between eighteen and twenty-six months old, it carries notes of chocolate candy, sweet vanilla-like oak, tootsie rolls, and baker’s chocolate. It’s elegant, balanced, and intentional—a testament to the artistry and patience poured into each barrel. To elevate this character to new heights, we’ve crafted a limited run of Double Barrel Truth.
This variation was aged for one year in barrels that previously held bourbon, and then re-racked into a second, freshly emptied selection. This secondary aging brings forth robust aromas of toffee ice cream and notes of woody spice. It’s a decadent embrace of everything we love about Truth!

Tree House Double Barrel Truth Imperial Stout (2026), 17.2% ABV. After breaking through the waxtic armor with a butcher knife, it pours black and thick with no head or bubbles, but leaves an oily sheen. Aroma is bourbon, oak, and fudge. Taste is roast malt, sweet bourbon, oak, and chocolate, slightly sweet, faintly bitter, slight bourbon burn. Outstanding thick and smooth mouthfeel, leaving sticky lips, light carbonation. Overall world-class.
