Mud Season is a white IPA crafted in honor of winter’s final trial of our spirit. Pouring a cloudy yellow hue, heaps of foam rise above the glass. A wintry charge of Centennial hops brings forth notes of flowing pine sap, grapefruit rind, and lemon candy. These bright, hoppy aromas are tempered by a fluffy body, courtesy of a hefty dose of doughy wheat malt in the grist.

This one pours a fairly hazy straw yellow, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells quite orangey, with some pine, lemon peel, and doughiness.
It’s been simply forever since I’ve had a white IPA, and this is a pretty delightful one. It’s got the heavy duty juice bomb characteristics of so many Tree House IPAs, but the addition of all this this wheat does add a pleasantly sweet, doughy, but ultimately dry feel to it.
This is creamy, but crisp and finishes nicely dry.
This was my favorite of the various beers that I picked up from Tree House recently.
