Feast or Famine is our Triple Bock and the heftiest entry into our series of strong German beers. Pouring a jet black color with flashes of ruby hues, its head rises and settles quickly into the abyss. Aromas of burnt caramel, rich port wine, and dark cherry syrup hover above the glass. Following behind are notes of molasses, chocolate-covered figs, and earthy spice. Despite its rich character, its extended conditioning makes for a sublime and effortless sipper. A world of plenty resides neatly against the edge of hunger. Sweet and still, they graze until, like the breaking of a dam, a torrent of horn and hooves floods across the plains. Two perfect evolutions, one built of precision, the other as quick as a gust of wind.

Pours dark brown black with a creamy light tan khaki colored foam head. Smells like jammy strawberry preserves, molasses, toasted brown bread crust, dark caramel malts, toffee, dried fruit, dark fruit, hints of chocolate, subtle spice, and mild floral earthy hops. Tastes dense, sweet and rich with notes of cherry cola syrup, smoky blackstrap molasses, roasty char, licorice, burnt toffee, dark caramel malts, toasted brown bread crust, bitter chocolate, dried dark fruit, strawberry jam, some apple, pear, subtle spice, with mild floral earthy herbal grassy hops. Feels medium plus bodied, thick and syrupy, creamy slick with moderate smooth carbonation. Overall a real nice and interesting triple bock.

Pours clear, dark brown in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is toasted brown sugar, dark bread, caramel, and flat cherry cola. Low carbonation, slightly sweet, heavy bodied. Very much a bock and a strong one at that. Good for style and well worth a try. Complex sipper.
